Hi everybody. We are Unkut Stones, a band from Laurinburg, North Carolina. We just finished recording our demo with six original songs. It will be available for sale in August. On this page you'll find out a little about us as individuals and we'll get a chance to let you in on the awesome ways God has blessed us.

So, who's in the band? The band, at the moment, consists of Josiah Boda, Bradley Baines, and Gregory Baines. All are members of Stewartsville Baptist Church and started out playing in the Youth Praise Band. Bradley plays bass, Gregory plays guitar, and Joe plays anything you can possibly imagine...including the accordion!
In 2006, Gregory went to the Dominican Republic on a mission trip and returned to find that his beloved grandmother had gone home to be with the Lord. The impact of the mission trip and the loss of his grandmother lead Gregory to a closer relationship with Jesus. Shortly afterwards, in response to God's grace and goodness, he wrote "Beautiful Things." With the first song written, the guys began to play together regularly and seek to write songs that would point others to the amazing grace of Jesus Christ.

Josiah Boda Age: 16 Hobbies: Tennis, Weightlifting, Ping-Pong, Reading Instruments: Guitar, Drums, Piano, Accordion, Banjo, Bass, Mandolin Word of Testimony: My testimony is really not that dramatic. I grew up in a Christian home with Christian parents. I was at church every Sunday. One day my older sister Jessie came up to me and told me that we should both get saved. So right then we both went into our Dad's office room in our house and we both knelt down and said the sinner's prayer. I was six years old at the time and I can still remember the day as if it were yesterday. Still, for a while after I got saved, I didn't really do anything for God. Then one night while I was in Michigan, I realized that I wasn't living for God completely. Right there, I rededicated my life to Christ. I was baptized by my Dad after that to really show people that I was serious about my decision. Now I live to try to put Jesus first in everything I do.

Bradley Baines Age: 15 Hobbies: Sports, Hunting, Camping, Reading Instruments: Bass, Trombone, Drums Word of Testimony: I have been blessed to grow up in a Christian home where my parents taught me about Jesus and the Bible. Church has always been a part of my life and I guess I was never a really bad kid. Still, the fact was that I was a sinner. One night when my dad was putting me to bed, he shared the gospel with me. That night, I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior and have been trying to grow in him ever since. I recognize that being a Christian is not about going to church or being good. It's about a relationship with the One who gave His life so that I might live.

| Gregory Baines Age: 17 Hobbies: Hunting, Sports, Reading, Listening to music Instruments: Guitar, Drums, Piano Word of Testimony: Being real...that is what my relationship with Jesus is all about. I have always been in church and have been taught about God, His Son, and His Holy Word since I was old enough to remember. I gave my heart to the Lord at a young age and tried to follow Him. However, as I got older, there was a lot of pressure to conform to the world - listen to what my friends were listening to, talk like they talked, and so on. When I was thirteen, a mission trip to the Dominican Republic followed by the death of my grandmother brought me to a realization about life. I knew that Christ gave it all for me and that I had to be real in living my life for Him. My prayer is that every day, I will live my life to glorify Him.
